Question For Catholics:Philosophy?
You wirte your question in an interresting manner, therfore by using the past tense of the verb to be while asking if a pholiosphiy is preennial, you answer your own question. In my sophistic view, much of Aristotle's philosophy is indeed perennial, while Catholicism is not a pholosophy -- those who study it at such, St. Thomas Aquinas not withstanding, miss the point. I suspect by your question that you missed Aquinas's point as well. Stripped of faith Catholicsm may fare well when compared against any philosophy, however stripped of fatih Catholicsm is not Catholicism nor is it a philosophy.
