Darksiders Metal Robot Boss with Chain and Spike Ball (PS3 / XBOX360)?

How do you to kill the Metal Robot Boss with Chain and Spike Ball in the game Darksiders on XBOX 360and PS3?? I got the teleport gun to avoid the boss attacks but how the hell do I attack it back with such strong amour??
