Does anyone else have this problem with The Sims....?

You get extremely addicted to it almost obsessed and then extremely bored almost neglectful of it. Every Sims game I ever had I can play nonstop for months, download tons of things, create a bunch of different families and then all of a sudden I get tired of it and stop playing for months. Sometimes the game gets so complicated and repetitive it makes me sick. I hate having to keep my sims needs up constantly. No one eats that much or sleeps that much in real life. I just wish it could be more real, where your sim doesnt HAVE to eat constantly or HAVE to get sleepy so fast.
