How many Liberals were there before 1900? Are they not a "by product" of Capitalism?
The founding fathers were liberals. Jefferson wanted a public school system for Virginia. When a bunch of men sit down and draw up a Bill of Rights for individual protections, then can be nothing but Liberals for Liberty.
