How to convince my parents to lete go to a friends for the weekend.?

Okay so im just getting back from my dads friday and my friend asked me if i would go to shangri la with her for the weekend.( that place is frigging awesome!) And i asked my mom and she said idk cause your just getting back that day. So how can i convince her to let me go for the weeknd i realy wanna go!! Please help!!
