I REALLY do NOT like these people more than anything????? What to do?

My 14 year old daughter had the same problem. Let's face it. Girls are just mean. They thrive on hurting people. We realized that the only thing most of these girls have in common with each other is getting a thrill by ganging up on another girl...especially a cuter, smarter, more interesting and mature one. They do it because they are insecure and it makes them feel better about themselves to tear down girls they are jealous of and threatened by. There's nothing you can do but weather the storm until these girls grow up. Ignore them. Don't acknowledge them. The more you react, the more fun it is for them to attack you. As for Facebook, go ahead and de-friend them. My daughter finally got up the nerve to do it to a bunch of these types of girls, and guess what?? A whole bunch of others did the same thing! It was awesome. It ended up that no one wanted them as "Facebook Friends" but were too scared to de-friend them until my daughter did. If you are unwilling to do that, you might consider de-activating your account for a while. Then no one's feelings get hurt. You can just tell your friends that you find it a huge waste of time and would rather spend time with them in person. My only other thought is to create a new account with a funny, fake name. Once you've established a new account, just let people know who you really are when you ask to friend them. Good luck and stay strong. You will be happier in the long run if you take the high road.
