Movie title about a young man who claims to have won the lottery?

I'm not sure when this movie was made, late nineties or early naughties. There are five young people vacationing together. Four of them make up two couples, and the fifth is a new boy who is friends with one of the others. The new boy tells the others that he has a winning lottery ticket. One couple has just found out that their father's business is going under, which will leave them destitute. This causes them to plot the death of the boy who has the lottery ticket. In the end you find out that his ticket is a fake, and he just wanted to see how people would react to knowing he had it.
