What computer part did I fry?

Closely inspect all components on your mbo, you will find the one that burned, there'll be a tiny brownish blackish spot in the center. Also lift up your cpu, might be on the bottom. I had the same thing happen when I installed a new PS, the mfr claimed that I must have connected it wrong which as we all know is impossible. I'd throw out the PS if I were you.
