Were the remains of the pilots in the missiles ahem i mean airplanes ever found?

did anybody find the pilots or the indestructible boxes that all the airplanes should have? there were 4 of them. they all contain the audio of to what happened that fate full day. the destruction of these tapes is out of the question, anybody know why we never had the chance to hear what was going on in the plane before they all died?
